Dr. Debbie Grant
Dr. Debbie Grant
Dr. Debbie Grant also known as “Dr. Debbie” is a Board-certified pediatric dentist and the owner of HumbleBees Pediatric Dentistry. She is a Florida girl, born and raised in Miami, FL and now resides in Sarasota!
She graduated from the University of Florida College of Dentistry and received extensive training in pediatric dentistry at NYU Langone Hospital- Massachusetts. She has spent her entire career providing oral health care throughout North Central Florida, including cities such as Jacksonville, Bronson, Ocala, Bradenton and more. Dr. Debbie has enjoyed treating the underserved communities and has been blessed to help so many families.
HumbleBees Pediatric Dentistry is a culmination of Dr. Grant’s career and legacy. It is a dental “hive” for infants, children, adolescents and special needs children to receive personalized evidence-based dental care and education. Dr. Debbie and the Humblebees team create a safe and comfortable environment for the young patients to enjoy “going to the dentist”!
In addition to the positive impact within her practice, Dr. Grant likes to help her community by partnering with outreach programs, such as Healthy Start Sarasota. Dr. Debbie Grant is married to Omar Grant and they have a lovely daughter, Ora.
Dr. Debbie is fluent in Spanish and Haitian-Creole, loves to spending time with her family and friends, shopping (Target addict), going to church, She also loves to sing, especially to her patients. Her laugh is infectious and loves to wear her curls, whether short or long! Dr. Grant is one of a kind and is humbled to help you and your kiddos smile.
What to Expect
The Experience
Patient Experience
When you and your child first walk through our doors, you’ll be greeted by our comfortable, fun environment and our friendly office staff. You’ll be invited to sit down and relax as you fill out any new patient forms before your appointment, and your kiddo will get to visit our kid’s play area and take advantage of our awesome amenities. Once the forms are complete and your child’s doctor is ready, we’ll invite you back into one of our operatories.
Your little one will receive a cleaning, comprehensive exam, and x-rays, and their doctor will sit down with you to discuss the results. If everything looks good, you’ll be able to schedule their next appointment in the front office. If anything needs extra attention, the doctor will explain the results and take time to address any questions or concerns you might have, and they will describe any

Your time is valuable to us! In order to help make your visit more efficient, we ask that you bring the following items to your appointment:
- New Patient Forms
- Dental insurance card
- Valid form of ID
- Your child’s favorite toy or blanket
- List of any questions

Community Outreach
Our philosophy of care goes beyond the office walls. We believe that it’s our responsibility to care for our patients and their families, both in and out of the operating chair, and one of the best ways to do this is through our community outreach programs. We are especially excited to partner with Healthy Start Sarasota, an organization dedicated to improving the health of pregnant women, their babies and families. A donation to this wonderful program will be given for every new patient seen at HumbleBees Pediatric Dentistry. We are committed to creating sweet smiles inside and out of our humble hive!
